Boy Reading on BridgeLearning to associate nouns with images and verbs with actions is integral to the reader’s comprehension. These skills enhance the reading experience and provide a lifetime of rewards for the reader.  Tutors at the Rapid Road to Reading™ learning center encourage students to “picture” what they are reading and then to re-paint that picture using their own words to describe what is taking place in the story being read.  Students learn to enhance written responses to comprehension questions with the use of descriptive adjectives and adverbs.
